Helen DeArman, 83, of Davison, Mich., died Dec. 2, 1997, at McLaren Regional Medical Center, Flint, Mich. She was born June 13, 1914, in Piggott, Ark., and moved to Davison from Barefoot Bay in 1996. Mrs. DeArman was a member of the Barefoot Bay Florida Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Glenda McKeachie, of Davison; one stepson, James DeArman, of Pinconning, Mich.; two stepdaughters, Kathleen Alstott, of Fenton, Mich., and Linda Murray, of Leapwood, Tenn; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A graveside memorial service was held Dec. 6 at Davison Cemetery, Davison, with the Rev. Randal Schultz officiating. Allen Funeral HOme, Davison, was in charge of arrangements. “8409

“ James Claude DeArman II, 65, of Galdwin, passed away on Tuesday, Mar. 2, at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Midland.

He was born on June 25, 1944 in Bay City, to James I and Myrtle (LaBean) DeArman. He married Margot A. Coleman on Dec. 18, 1976 in Gladwin. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the Vietnam Era. He was employed with TRW of Sterling Heights doing Auto Heat Treat. He had lived in Gladwin County since 2007, previously residing in Chattanooga, Tenn., and was a member of Standish VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Margot DeArman, of Gladwin; sons, James C. III (Lori) DeArman, of Port Huron, Jon DeArman, of Ferndale; daughter, Brigette (Adam) Loyd, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; mother and step-father, Myrtle and Charles Pletos, of Sterling Heights; sisters, Kathleen (Garry) Alstott, of Fenton, Linda (David) Murray, of Swartz Creek; in-laws, Leo and Isabel Coleman, of Beaverton and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James and brother, Joseph.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Mar. 5, at 2:30 p.m. with visitation beginning at 12 noon at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Rev. Adam Loyd and Rev. Steven Padgett will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Mar. 4, from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or Seed of Faith Ministry, East Ridge, Tenn.
