Rev. Donald Hébert provides different dates for the marriage of Jean-Baptiste Guidry and Marie Solange Hébert. In his original edition9389 he stated that they were married on 17 June 1797 while in the revised edition4258 he listed the date of their marriage as 27 June 1797. I have used 27 June 1797 because the original marriage document4272, written in Spanish, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana states that this couple was married on 27 June 1797.

In his original edition9389 he stated that they were married on 17 June 1797 while in the revised edition4258 he listed the date of their marriage as 27 June 1797. I have used 27 June 1797 because the original marriage document4272, written in Spanish, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana states that this couple was married on 27 June 1797.
