“ GIDRY, Arthur - 83, St. Alphonse, died April 29, 2003, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in St. Alphonse, he was a son of the late Alexander and Caroline (Babin) Geddry. Surviving are son, Roney, St. Alphonse; daughter, Esther (Mrs. Evan LeGoffic), Williams Lake, B.C.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Geraldine; son, John; daughters, Florence and Dorothy; brothers, John, Joe, Edmond, Jim; sisters, Marie, Lillian, Marguerite, Nellie. No visitation by request. Funeral 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Alphonse Church, St. Alphonse, Rev. Albeni d’Entremont officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery.
