There is a slight discrepancy in the month in which Athanase Martin Saulnier was born. The “Catalogue of the Families of the Parishes of St. Mary’s Bay and St. Mandé etc. 1823-1829”13894,13889 states that he was born on 9 November 1827 while the “Catalogue of the Families of the Parishes of Baie Ste. Marie and St. Mandé etc. par order alphabétique 1840-1844”13890,13891 states that he was born on 9 December 1827. I have used November as the birth month since the 1823-1829 record is encompasses the actual birth year of 1827.
