“ Louis Frankhouse, aged 76 years for more than 30 years a resident of Monroe died at his home, 1137 E 8th St., Sunday, following a lingering illness. Mr. Frankhouse was well known in the Fourth Precinct where he had resided for many years. He is survived by a widow, Rose Frankhouse and the following children: John, Albert, Louis Jr., Henry, Francis, Fred, Mrs. William Cooley and Mrs. Ora Mowray all of Monroe. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Church, 2nd & Kentucky Ave., Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock with the Rev. Fr. Michael J. O’Rilley officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery, Monroe. “

“ MRS. ROSELE FRANKHOUSE
Mrs. Rosele Frankhouse, aged 85 years, died in her home at 1136 Eat Eighth Street this morning after a lingering sickness. Her death was caused by old age and complications. Mrs. Frankhouse had lived in Monroe for a great number of years and was well known in the eastern part of the city where she resided for many years. The body has been removed to the Webber undertaking parlors awaiting funeral arrangements. Mrs. Frankhouse leaves the follows sons and daughters, Albert, John, Fred, Francis, Louis and Henry, Mrs. William Cooley and Mrs. Clark Murray, all of Monroe. “

“ LaSalle, March 24, John J. Frankhouse of 4752 North Shore Road, LaSalle, died in Monroe Hospital yesterday at 10:20 pm. He had been in ill health following a stroke 13 years ago and seriously ill the last two weeks.
He was born in Newport, November 24, 1878 (sic 1875) the son of Mr. & Mrs. Louis Frankhouse. He worked at the Deinzer Furniture Company a number of years before joining the Monroe police force in 1905. He served on the force for 18 years, the last six as chief of police. He then transferred to the fire department, retiring following the stroke 13 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Clara, seven sons all at home, Raymond, John Jr., Donald, Orlie, Kenneth, Charles and Michael. Four daughters all at home. Betty, Margaret, Geraldine and MIldred. Five brothers, Bert, Louis, Henry, Francis, all of Monroe and Fred of River Rouge, and a sister Mrs. William Cooley of Monroe.
The body is at the Allore Beam and Weber mortuary with service to be held Monday at 9 AM from St. Joseph Catholic Church. Internment will be St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe. “
