In 1911 Edouard Guidry was a widower and self-employed shoemaker. His son Joseph-Pierre-Edouard was a carpenter working for others and worked 50 weeks at 60 hours per week in 1910 earning $600. His daughter Marie-Cécile was a housekeeper. His son Joseph-David-Télesphore was a self-employed grocer. His son Joseph-Omer was a self-employed shoemaker. His son Joseph-Odon was a blacksmith working for others and worked 50 weeks at 60 hours per week in 1910 earning $700. All of the family could read and write in 1910 and commonly spoke English. Questions/Errors notes for Edouard (Spouse 1)

The baptismal record for Edouard Guidry states that he was born on 26 April 184316050,16013,13868 while the 1901 Census of Canada lists his birthdate as 10 May 184216052 and the 1911 Census of Canada lists his birthdate as February 184116054. I have used the baptismal record as being correct since it was recorded immediately after his birth as he was baptized the same day as he was born.
